The second week of treatment is nearly over and I notice some changes in how I am feeling and reacting to treatment. Essentially the brain fog has partially lifted, I experience less nausea, and I feel less drained of energy. Don’t get me wrong – I still have brain fog, nausea and fatigue that would in normal circumstances result in me making an appointment with the GP. It is just that compared to the previous ten days, I am feeling much better.
“Time for your snack Den – a chunk of chicken, buttered bread with a slab of tasty cheese, and a chocolate shake of full cream milk, milk powder, drinking chocolate and ice cream.”
Thanks Nurse David. (Nurse David takes his role of fortifying my food intake “Make every bite count!”)
