Chemotherapy: Same mild side effects overnight – stomach squeeze feeling, headache, and tiredness. No nausea or vomiting. I have passed the 24 hour milestone in which severe allergic reactions to the chemo drugs generally occur. Appetite is normal and I am eating well. So far, so good. Next milestone is tomorrow afternoon (26 September, 2024) when I reach 72 hours. Serious side effects can emerge within the first three days after infusion. Again, all looks good to get past 72 hours without major side effects. Last milestone of Cycle 1 is end of Day 7. By then any delayed reaction will have emerged. The side effects I am experiencing on Day 8 should be all that I will experience that cycle. Hoping that thigns stay small.
Radiation therapy: No sign of side effects of radiation therapy yet. It will come though, from about Week 3. Got the breathing rate and breath holding well today. Treatment time tomorrow should be shorter as I am learning the rates at which they want me to breathe, hold, and relax. The treatment process is going well – as yet no idea how it is affecting the cancer cells.

Do you go the same time everyday?
How long does it take?
