23 September 2024: Chemotherapy and Radiation

24 September – 11 Oct 2024: Monday – Friday daily radiation

Cycle 2: 14 Oct – 1 November 2024

14 October 2024: Chemotherapy and Radiation

15 Oct – 1 Nov 2024: Monday – Friday daily radiation

Consolidation (post chemo radiation) therapy

In a stroke of luck, molecular pathology tests revealed that the adenocarcinoma variety I have is susceptible to both targeted therapy (EGFR) or PD-L1 immunotherapy. The oncologist suggested that we see how the chemoradiation impacts the cancer and decide whether targeted therapy or immunotherapy would be best to mop up any remaining undetectable cancer cells.
