I continue to be very touched and grateful for the kindness and well wishes of family and friends. One very practical assistance I am receiving is to the offer of being driven to and from treatments. To be honest, I do not know how debilitating the combo radiation/chemotherapy treatments are likely to be. I suspect impacts will be mild and manageable at first and will increase in intensity as time goes by.
At this early stage I am hoping to be as independent and self-reliant as possible, for as long as possible. I am thinking of getting to and from the clinic on the bus for a while (the 348 picks up and delivers at stops very close to us and the hospital).
As the cumulative impacts of treatments build, I am oping to be able to catch the 348 to the clinic and ask someone to pick me up after treatment. Eventually I may prefer(need) to be dropped off and picked up.
Thanks to the army of drivers who have already offered to be on the transport roster. You will be hearing from me!

Maybe you can get someone (🥸) to create a roster in a Google sheets document and people and jot down when they can go and pick you up?

What a good suggestion. After two months working on the Team Clover election campaign 🥸 is VERY experienced in using Google sheets. 🥸 can create a roster when the need arises!
