About my immune system

I chatted to my Cancer Nurse Coordinator (CNC) about my immune system. Essentially I wanted to know when my immune system would be sufficiently recovered for me to go back to aquarobics classes at the local pool. The CNC said that my immune system would take a few more weeks to fully recover but that the high risk period was the first week after infusions. It being more than 2 weeks since the last infusion, we agreed that it would be ok to return to classes. I went to the aqua classes on Thursday and Friday mornings (31 Oct and 1 Nov). It was great to get back to one of my normal routines and my classmates were very encouraging. The 40 minute class tired me a little but the benefits far outweighed the downside. I just slept when I got home and all was well.
